How this works.
The Bay Guide is two things: a census — every registered food and lodging premises around Morecambe Bay, drawn from the public register, complete whether or not anyone asks to be in it — and a guide being written on top of it, entry by entry, before the Eden Project opens down the road. Businesses can buy help getting ready. They cannot buy their way in. Four rules govern it:
The census is complete and objective.
Every registered premises is in it. Nothing about it is for sale.
The canon is earned.
Listings, picks and features cannot be bought.
The help is sold openly.
Readiness work is a service, never a condition of appearing.
No sentence the sources can’t support.
Where the guide doesn’t know, it says so.
